About

Radford University Collegiate Entrepreneurs (RU CE)
The Collegiate Entrepreneurs (CE) club of Radford University is a collection of students with a diverse mix of majors. All of us have a strong desire to succeed, and all of us at one point in our life have ambitions to work for ourselves. Some of our members already have experience with operating a side business. The main goal of CE is teaching students the steps needed to start a business during/after school, provide invaluable networking opportunities, and give students real world experience starting up a business.

Since the launch of Collegiate Entrepreneurs in 2004, we have made great strides in advancing our image on and off campus. We have active ties to successful alumni, highly respected and distinguished professors, and extremely motivated students.

Most recently, our club hosted an Entreprenurial Summit on October 10th, 2007; bringing in six successful CEOs from all over Virginia to talk to students about entrepreneurship. To read more about the success of the Entreprenurial Summit, please visit the Projects page.

In addition, the club launched a new business venture; www.Radmenus.com. Radmenus.com was an online restaurant portal that takes all of the menus from the surrounding restaurants in Radford, Chrisitansburg and Blacksburg, and cumulates them onto one website. Since the public launch at the end of November 2007, Radmenus has received over 23,000 page views within 4 months of launching and is also honored to be the only student run business and orgnaization as a member of the Montgomery Chamber of Commerce.
